The Perfect Match

Panera Bread and Caribou Coffee are the perfect match. It wouldn't be good to combine Caribou into the Paneras, but Panera's management could give Caribou's brand a nice lift. Panera would only have to spend $150 million to acquire Caribou and it would be good to diversify and have several different brands. With Caribou struggling to even make a profit, Panera could expand the company very quickly while making the company profitable.
